I hate clever clogs
Especially Tai Chi ones
They’re so sure of themselves
Their lineages
Their teachings
Are all straight lines
Very defined
It’s not this or that
It’s what they teach
Everybody else is wrong
Tai Chi requires a broad perspective
It has to encompass everything
Like a giant jig saw puzzle
You can’t leave anything out
To make everything fit
You have to seek the optimum
Nobody has all the answers
They’re all looking at the same thing
Through different windows
Instead of putting everyone else down
You have keep growing your mind
All the time we inhabit a body
We can never have all the answers
Be perfect
Or fully enlightened
The more we let go of any ‘rules’
The more we learn in ideas and principles
The more we use fuzzy logic
The wordless mind
The more look inwards
Listen to our body
Our energy
Our instincts
The better chance we have
Every time we’re sure
We have to ‘let go’ some more
To allow ourselves to grow.
