Leave People Alone

Sort yourself out first
Balance yourself
Develop your internal locus of power
If other people want help
They’ll ask
Then you decide what help you can give
So that they can also develop their power
Don’t enable their negativity

You might think that you can help
Family, friends and those closest
Are the most likely to not want it
Because they know you in a different way
Unrequested help is negative
And will be seen as pressure
They will see it as abuse
You can offer politely once
Then leave them alone

It’s hard to watch those you love suffer
But it’s their life
Their path
The best help is detachment
And just be there if they need it

Otherwise leave them alone.
