Life is based on desire
The desire to have or not have
When we free ourself from desire
We are enlightened from it
No one can control us
Temptation is gone
Adverts and media pressure
Have no effect
We walk a solitary path
Because others can’t understand
We don’t fear life
Because it is as it is
We don’t fear death
Because we don’t desire life
There is no pressure
No anxiety
No fear
We’ve found peace
And acceptance
A deeper happiness arises
Because we weren’t trying.
